All AWNW members are invited to the third annual conference and AGM.
When: Wednesday the 21st of October, 9.30am-4pm (times tbc)
Where: International Pavillion, RWAS Showgrounds, Bulith Wells
Topics to be covered include general network business, a presentation on the Companion Animal Welfare Enhancement Scheme (CAWES) from the Welsh Assembly Government and one of the CAWES Chairs, and the links between interpersonal violence and violence to animals. A draft agenda and registration forms are attached.
We want to encourage everyone to attend this important event, so a special bursary has been set up to offer small organisations free admission and some compensation for their travel expenses. The charge for all other organisations will be £25 per delegate.
Your registration forms must be returned by Wednesday the 14th of October. For those wishing to be considered for election to the Network’s board, a fully complete self-nomination form (included in the pack) must also be returned by this date.
Please take your time to read through your forms, and make sure to return them before the deadline. I hope to hear from you soon, and look forward to seeing you at this year’s conference.
